Old Scrabble set

Selchow and Righter, New York. This is an old set with last copyright 1953. All wooden tiles all present (I checked), with board and four racks. Board has some mild signs of age or use (see photograph), including a faint brown spot.  Instructions printed on back of top lid. Ready for fun! Box has some wear. If there was a pouch for the pieces, it is missing.
