Home Landscapes by W. Robinson

With views taken in the farms, woods and pleasure grounds of Gravetye Manor. Second edition, with pictures of old English houses showing the value of natural form in relation to good building; to compare with the disfigurement of the Dutch to Continental Gardens.

London: John Murray, Albemarle Street, W., 1920. Great old tome, massive and quite scarce, bound in green cloth, with light library markings. Beautiful b&w photographs of 'proper' English landscape, followed by images of some great country houses. Light wear, light ex-library markings. Some fraying and loss at spine and bottom edge. Mark on spine where number was effaced. Previous owner's name and number on inside cover.  Photographs at back of the country homes have a touch of browning.
