Carmel Snow was the editor of this issue, and Alexey Brodivitch the art director. Great "American Fashions" issue, with feature on Millicent Rogers (Mrs Ronald Balcom) photographed by Francois Kollar.  Other photography by Georges Hoyningen Huene, Martin Munkasci. Short story by Virginia Woolf "The Shooting Party" illustrated by Mary Petty. Another short story by Colette. Fashion feature in Washington Square; another at the Old English Bookshop. Lots of fashion features. A great issue, with minor flaws: Some handling wear, short tears and light creasing and slight sunning. Spine has some wear, especially at tips, but all lettering visible.
