The first novel in 'The Music of Time'

London: Heinemann, 1955. Handsome jacket by Broom-Lyne has survived quite well.  A copy of this scarce title, scarce even in the reprint. Jacket's spine has loss at tips, internal tear and small area of loss. Previous owner has made two 'corrections' to Powell's grammar, which would be easy to erase. Staining to back panel. Some foxing, browning to endpapers. Still, a nice copy of a very early edition.
